YOU are the stars....

For the first time we tried to get EVERYBODY on camera at our event this weekend in Springfield, MO.

Look closely and see if you can see yourself.

Team WordPlay guest speakers @ WOW 2008

Hey Gang! Ryan and I just returned from speaking and performing at the 2008 WOW Conference at the Springfield Expo Center in Springfield, Missouri and all I can say is WOW!

The theme was Keep it Real! Drop the Act! and it was awesome to see so many students there (about 2,300 to be exact) trying to be real with their Creator. Ryan and I met so many amazing people and had a great time performing with bands Todd Agnew, By the Tree and One Star Story. There was also that crazy crew of extreme bikers from Chaos on Wheels rounding things out and keeping everyone thoroughly amazed.

We had an unbelievable time and look forward to seeing many of our new Missouri friends when we return to the state for our tour in June. Talk to ya soon!

In Him,
Chris

8 performances, 3 venues in 4 days!

This week was a whirlwind in Dallas and the surrounding areas as we were on stage at schools and churches. We always have a blast and love staying busy. Thanks to everyone who made it a success and to the old faces we got to see again and the new faces that we were privileged to meet!

Look forward to seeing you all again soon...

TWP returns to Winter Weekend in Dallas

For the second year in a row we were invited back to the excellent Valley Ranch Baptist Church in Texas. Tom Stickney and his youth group are always a joy. What an excellent-run ministry and a great group of folks.

Team WordPlay reviews "Cloverfield"

Let me start by saying Chris gets nauseated doing jumping jacks, so watching a feature length film that is a handheld video throughout is not a good idea for him. He said he watched the green exit sign most of the time to keep from turning green and to keep from throwing up green stuff in his seat.

All in all I appreciate the attempt and actually thought they did a great job with a genre that doesn't really have a name. But, if you have a weak stomach either take lots of Dramamine or avoid this one all together.

Update from the set

Well, Ryan and I just finished our second day of shooting our world religions Fuel DVD for Lifeway and everything is going great. The crew is amazing and we are having a great time. It's fun to be considered an expert in something but I think Ryan and I are learning as much as we are teaching. What a scam!

It's fun to see that while there are so many different people working on this project we can all come together with one mind for the sole purpose of glorifying God and preaching His word. How cool that a couple of goofs like us can be used in such a way. Oops, I have to go, Ryan needs me to show him how to pronounce a few of the words in his script. Remember kids, stay in school!

In Him,
Chris

Ryan and Chris film more FUEL series

hey everybody,
we are in nashville, TN this week filming 12 more episodes of the DVD series on world religions for LifeWay. It was 12 degrees the morning we started the shoot, which is much chillier than the L.A. weather we are used to, but it was ok because we only had to endure the frigid temps from the car to the studio.

this is a new look for FUEL and is a multi-camera indoor shoot. enjoy some of the behind-scenes-footage...
